The first month of 2026 saw analysts make a lot of predictions regarding Bitcoin. A bunch of numbers were thrown around, with numbers ranging from $50K to $125K.

Technical analysis of Bitcoin shows a similar trajectory. Out of the 15 moving average indicators available on TradingView, 14 of them show a ‘sell’ recommendation. Both the 100-day moving averages sit comfortably above the $90K level, and the 200-day SMA is even higher at around $103K.
Lastly, despite a huge selloff in recent days, Bitcoin’s RSI is still at 25. This suggests the selloff was a methodical move by traders worldwide.
