Its restaking mechanism lets Ethereum security spread across actively validated services without each project building a separate validator set. That proposition is directly tied to Ethereum’s developer intensity. Top blockchains by developer activity consistently rank Ethereum near the top, and restaking depends on a healthy validator community. When infrastructure metrics improve, tokens like EIGEN can catch a bid even if broader sentiment hasn’t turned.
